Hi everyone!
And that's a wrap for NAMELESS KINGDOM. WOW, what a campaign. With 1472 backers and $91.5K raised, our first campaign of the year is an outstanding success. From everyone at Alien Books, I want to thank you. This is a major achievement for our little team. And a testament to the amazing graphic novels we're publishing. In this case, what Herik Henna and Redec have delivered is a masterpiece.
I can't wait for you to have the books in your hands. We started working on it already and we're going to work hard so that you can have NAMELESS KINDGOM to enjoy by Christmas.
Meanwhile, we're already looking ahead to our next project. And this one's epic too! Heard of Godzilla? Well, turns out there are other legendary titans that came from the depths of Antarctica! We're thrilled to introduce you to MEGA: RISE OF THE TITANS, a three volumes collection from outstanding Argentine artist Salvador Sanz.

Hi everyone,
You've all been fantastic so far. We're very close to unlocking our very last stretch goal at $80K (the original Sketchbook by Redec)… Can we do it together? It's still time to bring a friend or up your pledge 😉. This is the very last update before we close the curtain on NAMELESS KINGDOM. And for this one, I want to give a shoutout to some of our friends running campaigns right now:
Created by Brian Haberlin, Brian Holguin and Jay Anacleto, ARIA was one of the biggest comics in the world when it came out. This Kickstarter is more than just a reprint. It is a celebration of the legacy of Aria and the creators who brought it to life.
If you are new to the series, Boston Metaphysical Society is about an ex-Pinkerton detective, a spirit photographer, and a genius scientist who battle supernatural forces in late 1800’s Boston. They live in an alternate steampunk history where ghosts and demons are a normal part of life. Created by Madeleine Holly-Rosing with art by Elisabeth Mkheidze and Daniela Riviera.
This campaign hasn't started yet but is welcoming followers. Noir Is the New Black reaches its final chapter with Issue #3 of Season Two—a closing note carved in betrayal, ambition, and blood. But this campaign is more than an ending… it’s an archive of everything that came before. Nominated at the 2026 Eisner Awards for Best Anthology. Not to be overlooked!

Hi friends!
Seven days left to bring NAMELESS KINGDOM to the highest possible point. I have to say, you guys have been amazing. There were some debbie downers in the Alien Books team who said that this campaign couldn't crush its goals like other campaigns did, but our venerable leader Matias and myself were the only ones believing you could make it happen. And you did!
Look at that… We're over $65K raised (as I'm writing those lines) and you're over a thousand to have joined us to read the downfall of an animal kingdom! Astounding.
Now what's next? Well, as I said, we still have 7 days to reach the final stretch goal. And this one is super special. It took so long to get greenlight that we were not even sure we could make it happen. But here we are: if we reach $80K, we'll unlock an unreleased sketchbook by series artist Redec.
You probably have noticed that Redec and Herik Henna haven't spoken through the campaign. They are very private people. And they like people to discover them through their work. We, at Alien Books, respect that. So it's with such an immense pleasure, that Redec agreed to send us 22 sketches of the characters he drew in the book. All hand drawn. The sketchbook will be pretty unique as it'll contain those illustration plus blank pages so that YOU can sketch the NAMELESS KINGDOM characters too!
No AI in this House! Speaking of sketches, here's a hand drawn panel from volume 1 of NAMELESS KINGDOM. For some reason, we received several messages fearing that the book was created using Artificial Intelligence. It couldn't be farther from the truth. For starters, Redec is a classically trained artist. He worked in animation before starting doing graphic novels, which explains how he draws the way he does. Furthermore, each volume of NAMELESS KINGDOM took a couple of years to be created. Work started during the COVID years and back then, AI tools were not even as integrated in programs like Photoshop as they are now. This series of graphic novels was created the "old fashion way". Hérik wrote it. Redec did his pencils by hand. Computers were involved at coloring and lettering stage, but that's been common practice for now 30 years in comics.
And, generally speaking, Alien Books is committed to human made art. Our founder is not just our fearless leader, he's also representing artists from all around the world and helps them getting gigs at other publishers. Art is in our DNA. And if you backed some of our other campaigns, you know what I'm talking about! 🙂
What else?! I was talking about art a paragraph ago. Well… It's our great great honor to finally see release of our new Zorro series from comic book legend Howard Chaykin and superstar artist Jorge Fornes! Issue #1 came out in comic book stores everywhere today and I hear that it's already selling very well. So don't walk, RUN, to a store near you to get your hands on ZORRO#1! And if you don't live near a store, there are several online comic book stores that still have copies. Don't wait. Here are some of the covers.

There's one thing I have to say: you have surprised all of us at Alien Books and made Nameless Kingdom an outstanding success! Better, 400+ of you are backing an Alien Books project for the first time. Welcome to the family. :)
Speaking of family, Nameless Kingdom follows the tragic destiny of the Lion dynasty as they're facing their most lethal threat: themselves. Little known fact, Herik Hanna, the series' writer claims inspiration from Robert E. Howard's Conan the Barbarbarian mixed with greek and Shakespearean tragedy, especially Richard III, with the epic way the Silver Surfer speaks in its original run.
WHERE ARE YOU?
I love statistics. So I went and looked at where you all are based. Here's the Top 10 of where our Nameless Kingdom backers come from:
California takes the number 1 spot, followed by England, then Texas completes the podium. New York isn't too far off and Indiana claims the last spot of our Top 10. How cool is that?

When we launched Nameless Kingdom, we thought going up to $30,000 was already optimistic. But your support blew us away and we had to add new stretch goals. As a reminder, here were the original stretch goals:

Hi everyone!
What an explosive first day for NAMELESS KINGDOM! You, my friends, have been fantastic: our campaign has been funded in 2hrs and right now, we're at 230% over the initial goal. And we crushed the first THREE stretch goals already! That means all of you who backed a physical reward will get additional stickers and trading cards.
Now, we have 19 more days to get to our next stretch goal (gold foil on all covers) at $30K. I guess we're going to have to announce more goals 😛
